During the week, Sebastian and I met through the Zoom meeting to work on the collaboration. We have the same theme for reducing plastic wastes but include two different subtopics. For Sebastian, he will focus on "Reshaping beauty" by creating the make-up product like a concealer without harmful chemical substances. My presentation will be focused on designing the package of the concealer without using the plastic.

Week 10 of class everyone presented their final projects to the class while also receiving further feedback. My final project had transformed from my initial idea of creating a mushroom book that would act as codex for different kinds of mushrooms while having 2 kinds of illustrations with a page of information about said mushroom. So after that, my final project became somewhat the same idea but transforming them into collectible cards.

In recent years, there has been an increasing number of scientists who recognize synthetic fiber as a significant source of pollution on a global scale, endangering our ecosystem through its circulation. During the laundry process, an extensive amount of microfiber would be washed off from the clothing, which is largely constitutive of synthetic fiber. Once the microfiber gets into the sewer, it would likely to be carried by the flow into the ocean, causing a great threat to our marine ecosystem.

In an effort to address the harmful effects of mass production and electronic waste in our societies today, my project focuses on sustainable DIY electronics. DIY projects are one way to reduce our consumption of products and lower our footprint on environmental damage. DIY projects often use materials you've already purchased or are immediately available and producing these projects often doesn't require the resources used in a large scale industry. However many DIY projects, especially DIY electronics, are not sustainable or environmentally friendly.
